Dentons and the Financial University under the RF Government hold UnASTRONOMICAL Sums anti-conference

Moscow, December 2019 – Dentons global law firm and the Financial University under the Government of the Russian Federation held a unique, major event for representatives of financial, legal and customs departments of leading Russian and multinational companies: the UnASTRONOMICAL Sums anti-conference. The anti-conference addressed the key changes to tax and customs law and practice that will affect business in 2020.
Lyubov Goncharova, head of the tax policy and customs and tariff regulation department of the Financial University under the RF Government opened the event with a speech to welcome attendees.
The anti-conference had the format of a show in which Dentons’ Tax, Customs and Dispute Resolution practice lawyers played the leading roles and the Street Band orchestra provided the music. Dentons’ experts told the audience about the 25 most important events for the Tax and Customs practice that will be covered in a detailed alert to be published in January 2020.
The event’s information partners were Pravo.ru, Legal Insight, the Chamber of Tax Consultants, CFO Café and the Russian branch of the IFA.

During the anti-conference breaks, poster presentations on international taxation were organized by the Financial University’s graduate students and students on the International Tax Planning Master’s program.
