Throughout 2016-2018, the Pakistan Trade House of Commerce in Russia has intensified its regional program in response to the interest shown by its member companies in developing business in the regions of the Russian Federation. Pakistan Trade House Regional Program includes events and other activities of various formats: 1) briefings with the heads of regional administrations, held in Moscow; 2) business missions to various regions of the country; 3) business clubs held on the sidelines of the largest state and industrial forums in Russia’s regions; 4) active participation in discussion platforms at the largest state and industrial forums in Russia’s regions; 5) participation in regional events hosted by partner business associations (the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Russian Federation, the Russian Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs, the Association of Industrial Parks, and others); 6) participation in surveys and presentations on investment potential ratings of Russian regions (ASI, RAEX) and involvement of Pakistan Trade House member companies in assessing the investment climate in various regions of the Russian Federation. The aim of these activities is to provide companies with more information about the opportunities to develop their business and investments in various regions of the Russian Federation, create opportunities for meetings and foster dialogue between potential investors and regional authorities. Over the past two years and a half, Pakistan Trade House has held or actively participated in more than 40 major regional events, in which around 1200 people from the community of Pakistan Trade House members and its partners took part. Heads of various Russian regions, representatives of the diplomatic bodies, Governor of California Jerry Brown, and executives of Pakistan Trade House member companies spoke at Pakistan Trade House events in Moscow and beyond. The directions for the development of the regional program are determined by Pakistan Trade House members, depending on the prospects for their business development. All events were held in the regions prioritized by our members.
